HR Generalist - North Dublin
Reed is assisting a client we have recruited for in the past once again in their search for a HR Generalist. This will be a new role for a particular division in the business and as such, you will really be able to put your stamp on it and grow with the position.

Duties in the role:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers
- Conduct background checks, reference checks, and prepare offer letters and employment contracts
- Lead the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are integrated into the company smoothly, including coordinating orientation, induction and training programs
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, ensuring consistent communication
- Address and resolve employee concerns or grievances in a timely and effective manner
- Promote a positive workplace culture by organising team-building activities and supporting employee engagement initiatives
- Assist in handling employee performance issues, including conducting investigations, issuing disciplinary actions, and helping to resolve conflicts
- Support the department managers in the performance appraisal process, ensuring that reviews are conducted regularly and in line with company policies
- Assist with the development and implementation of employee training and development programs to support career growth
- Ensure all HR activities comply with local labour laws, Group company policies, and industry regulations
- Maintain and update employee records - ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure they are aligned with current legislation and best practices.
- Assist with managing employee leaves (sick leave, maternity/paternity leave, etc.) in accordance with Group company policies and legal requirements
- Assist with payroll processing by providing accurate employee data and updates to the payroll team.
- Coordinate employee benefits programs (EAP, pension, etc.) and provide guidance to employees on how to access and use their benefits
- Prepare HR reports and analytics on key metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, recruitment effectiveness, and employee engagement
- Use data to identify trends and make recommendations for HR process improvements
- Work with the Divisional MDs in the creation of a roadmap to achieve external accreditation as a good employer to aid employee retention and recruitment, (i.e. Great Places to Work)
