Profile

Our client is looking for an Asset & Debt Recovery Legal Executive to join their busy and friendly team, based in Dublin 2.

Key responsibilities: 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Managing a high-volume, fast-moving workload.

- Taking instructions from clients.

- Drafting motions and proceedings.

- Service of proceedings Instructing summons servers and tracing agents.

- Briefing counsel to include preparation of briefs.

- Dealing with incoming telephone calls from agents, solicitors and defendants.

- Dealing with incoming correspondence from agents, solicitors and defendants.

- Liaising with clients over court outcome and next steps.

- Liaising with court services.

- Ensuring safe and efficient handling of confidential data.

- Contributing to departmental monthly target.

Key skills and experience:

- The ideal candidate should have one to three years of experience working in a law firm.

- Previous experience in general.

- Debt is a significant advantage.

- Calm, professional and approachable manner. 

- Excellent administration skills which demonstrate an eye for detail and an ability to organise, manage and prioritise work within a team.

- Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a strong team player with a desire to learn. 

- Strong IT Skills including competency in Word, Excel, Outlook, experience of case management systems (Keyhouse is an advantage) and excellent numeracy skills.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
