Key Responsibilities:

Trainee and Intern Recruitment:

  • Manage bookings for careers fairs.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the firm at career fairs and other recruitment events on campus. This may include travel outside of Dublin.
  • Co-ordinate with current trainees to assist at career fairs. 
  • Ensure all applications are processed efficiently and all queries are answered promptly.
  • Shortlist applications alongside the Graduate Recruitment Manager.
  • Organise and print all required documentation ahead of interviews. Ensure the correct interview pack goes to the relevant interviewer.
  • Ensure interview rooms are booked.
  • Issue all Offer Letters.
  • Assist with any internal/external events aimed at trainees or interns.
  • Research and order new merchandise for each recruitment round.
  • Update the Trainee Steering Group and HR team on key themes and takeaways from the career fairs. 

 
Summer Interns:

  • Ensure the onboarding of incoming Summer Interns is complete.
  • Assist with organising the programme schedule, liaising with Practice Groups for speakers, Knowledge Learning & Development on technical training and trainees for trainee lead talks.
  • Arrange weekly social events that are a mix of activities.
  • Organise trainee buddies for the Summer Interns and update Trainee Facilitators.
  • Check-in with the Summer Interns weekly throughout their time in the firm alongside the Graduate Recruitment Manager.
  • Collate Summer Interns trainee offers from the different Practice Groups.
  • Draft offer letters and terms of offers for the summer interns per year offered.
  • Communicate offer outcomes to Summer Interns alongside the Graduate Recruitment Manager.

 

Trainee Development Programme too

 

Skills Knowledge and Expertise:

  • 2-3 years experience in graduate recruitment administration, preferably in a professional services industry would be an advantage although not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills, high level of attention to detail, creative problem solving, and ability to balance demands of multiple tasks.
  • Experience in managing social media in a professional context, would be an advantage although not essential.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of motivation and a proven self-starter.
  • Proactive and always looking for ways to improve the service offering to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Other tasks as required.
