Profile

They are currently seeking a Solicitor to join their team. The position represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a highly motivated team. The candidate should have a genuine interest in plaintiff welfare and ideally should have 5 years' experience working in the area of plaintiff litigation.

The key skills and experience required:

  • 5+ years post qualification experience in plaintiff litigation;
  • Be familiar with technical expert reports;
  • Have a good knowledge of EU law;
  • Liaising with counsel and management of case files to conclusion;
  • Ability to interact with technical experts, barristers, engineers, medical professionals and other relevant third parties;
  • Preparing and managing expert witnesses as appropriate;
  • Conduct consultations and settlement meetings in tandem with counsel;
  • Self motivated and ability to work on own initiative;
  • Experience in High/Circuit court litigation;
  • Capable of managing a wide caseload;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a pressurised environment;
  • Excellent drafting skills;
  • Must be an excellent communicator, highly motivated, personable and possess excellent client facing skills;
  • Proactive approach to work;
  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge of MS Office, Key House case management desirable.
