Pay Rate: €26.45 p/h (circa 55k p/a)
The Executive Sales Manager is responsible for driving the strategic sales vision of the company, overseeing the sales department, and ensuring sustainable revenue growth. This role involves the development and execution of sales strategies, managing a high performance sales team, building strong relationships with key clients, and expanding the company’s market presence.
The Executive Sales Manager is pivotal in aligning sales objectives with the overall business strategy, analysing market trends, and fostering a competitive yet collaborative team environment.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement long-term and short-term sales strategies that align with the company’s business goals
- Identify emerging market trends and customer needs to recommend new products and services
- Establish sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics to measure success and guide decision-making
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of regional sales managers and account executives
- Set clear performance objectives and hold the sales team accountable for achieving targets
- Conduct regular sales training programs to enhance the team’s skills in negotiation, closing deals, and customer relationship management
- Foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, and customer-centricity
Sales Operations and Performance:
- Ensure efficient and standardized sales processes across the organization to improve productivity and consistency
- Track and analyse sales performance using (revenue, growth rate, and customer acquisition cost) and present insights to senior management
- Implement CRM systems and other sales tools to manage pipelines, leads, and customer interactions effectively
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales campaigns and promotional activities with customer acquisition goals
Business Development and Relationship Management:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and credibility
- Negotiate high-value contracts and ensure long-term client retention and satisfaction
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and areas of improvement
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on sales performance data, market insights, and industry trends
- Prepare detailed sales reports and presentations for the executive team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future projections
