Sales/Warehouse Administrator

Job Description

Our client based in Co. Meath are seeking a Sales/Warehouse Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Salary - €28,000 - €31,000

Benefits - Pension & Health insurance support

Annual leave - 22 days

Hours - Fully on-site role – Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm

This role is ideal for an energetic and process driven candidate with a strong work ethic. The aim of the role is organising and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Fulfilling and dispatching orders in a timely and efficient manner. Dispatch orders with appropriate paperwork and packaging labelling.
  • Adjusting stock inventory where necessary to complete orders for fulfilment
  • Ensure order processing is done in line with company guidelines
  • Raising returns authorizations where necessary and arranging uplifts and credits / refunds
  • Processing goods in and dealing with any queries regarding shortages or discrepancies
  • Arrange shipping goods in and make supply decisions based upon quality and cost factors. Negotiate freight rates. 
  • Freight invoices should be signed off on prior to passing to accounts department for payment.
  •  Ensure warehouse has correct paperwork and labelling for dispatch of orders
  • Keep desk area, paperwork and files organised – filing should be completed daily
  • Be consistently aware of the possibility of falsified medicines entering warehouse through customer returns
  • General office duties - answering telephone calls, typing correspondence, attending to incoming / outgoing faxes and e-mails.
  • Dealing with customer queries regarding dispatch, shipping, out of stock items, alternative products
  • Ensure efficient communication at all times with customers and suppliers
  • To adhere to all company and legislative health, safety and environmental requirements
  • Maintain client, supplier and other third party’ documentation and records, ensuring correct record retention
