Qualifications / Education / Experience
This position is for a graduate with level 8 degree in business/finance who is wanting a clear path to become a qualified accountant. Company will pay for accounting exams and allow paid study days to prepare for exams.
Experience with a consolidation tool would be beneficial.
Duties in the role:
- Responsible for supporting FP&A Manager in the forecasting and budgeting process.
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Consolidate the annual budgets from the regional finance teams and provide results to management with analysis.
- Consolidate monthly and quarterly forecasts from the regional finance teams and provide results to management with analysis.
- Create an efficient and streamlined budgeting process with appropriate upload templates for teams.
- Consolidation Tool and Data Uploads
- Responsible for overseeing/owning the Divisional consolidation tool, ensuring it is functioning as appropriate and making changes to the tool as and when relevant, by liaising with the IT department.
- Creating upload templates and automated jobs for the regional finance teams to be able to load their data to the tool.
- Dealing with user issues in the data upload process.
- Month End Reporting
- Responsible for preparing monthly management reports, issuing group recharges to division, headcount reconciliations and reporting IT metrics.
- Carry out control checks on data submitted to division.
- Segmental and Geographic Reporting
- Responsible for providing management with monthly analysis on segmental and geographic results from the Divisional consolidation tool.
- IT and Team Queries
- Being a point of contact between the regional finance teams and the IT department for all IT queries.
- SQL Reporting
- Use SQL stream to create monthly and quarterly reporting suites for management.
