Management Accountant - North Dublin

Duties in the role:

  • Management and production of General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Managing and booking transactions of all required accounting entries, in compliance with legislation and group instructions/requirements
  • Ensure the timely payment of salaries and related payroll taxes
  • Responsible for Treasury management: including payment runs, vendor details authorization / users & roles and treasury forecast
  • Implementation and further development of internal checks and approvals to control costs and revenue
  • Validation of monthly payroll
  • Set up / implementation and responsibility for the month-end closing process incl. forecast and consolidation according to local GAAP
  • Responsible contact person for the group / local MD and internal department managers for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Provide consistent management reports and information to support effective business decision-making.
  • Responsible for budgets / medium-term planning and forecast
  • Manage and facilitate the yearly (internal) audit by 
  • Financial statements and related topics, in compliance with legislation and group requirements
  • Contact person for auditors / tax consultants and banks
  • Insurance and contract management
  • Monitoring of all relevant contracts and close contact with stakeholders and third parties
  • Supporting local GM and HR provider 
  • Cost-saving management (Agility), Centralization and improvement in Purchase management
  • Optimization and documentation of ERP deployment
  • Continuous development and optimization of all finance processes
  • Reorganisation and further development of structures and processes in finance with the target of increasing efficiency
