REED are working with a construction equipment company in Dublin 12 who are looking for a Parts Advisor to join their business. This is a new role due to company growth; the ideal candidate must have previous experience working in a parts advisory/sales role.

Salary - €40,000 - €45,000

Hours – 8.30am – 5pm

Fully on site

Annual leave – 20 days + bank holidays

The purpose of this role will be to serve customers and at the counter and over the telephone in need of equipment for repairs – Bell Dump trucks, Bomag Rollers, Hitachi Excavators, McCloskey Quarry Equipment, Thwaites Dumpers and Palfinger Cranes are some examples.

Duties & Responsibilities            

• Dealing with the public over the phone and at the front counter                 
• Dealing with employees repairing plant at the side counter
• Booking parts to customers and to internal jobs
• Stock checking                  
• General warehouse duties

Skills & Attributes required

• Previous parts handling experience with a Plant franchised business
• Knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace
• Self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative
• Be able to work as part of a busy team
• Computer literate
• Attention to detail                           
• Clean driving licence
