Job Description

REED are working with a transport company based in Ballymount, Dublin 12 – they are seeking a Recruitment Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. 

Salary €32,000

Fully on site – due to the location a driver is best

Hours are 8am – 4pm

Providing administrative support for the recruitment and selection process – this role sits within the HR function.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all recruitment related queries including liaising with internal and external candidates.
  • Manage the recruitment process from vacancy advert to hire status, for all non-management roles and support the recruiting manager in the shortlisting procedure by screening all applications against the agreed selection criteria.
  • Advertise all vacancies on internal and external job boards
  • Administer recruitment related documentation, such as interview documentation, new starter documents, and ensure all right to work documents are within the legal requirements to work in Ireland.
  • Provide recruitment support and advice to employees and line managers, explaining policies and procedures in a timely and effective manner
  • Collect, sort and respond to all incoming recruitment correspondence
  • Set up interviews and issue relevant correspondence to candidates
  • Confirm interviews with hiring manager and update calendar and room bookings as required
  • Prepare and maintain related recruitment reports for weekly recruitment meeting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders 
  • Provide regular feedback from stakeholders to the organisation
  • Work alongside the HR department to ensure a seamless transition from recruitment to onboarding and training of new starters

Skills & Attributes required

  • Experience in a busy, time bound administrative role is desirable
  • Experience in dealing with candidates and organising interviews via telephone / email is desirable
  • Knowledge of recruitment procedures including fair employment and right to work requirements
  • The successful candidate will be computer literate and also be proficient at MS Office.
  • Decision maker, good communicator, clear and concise written skills, excellent attention for detail, ability to operate as a team player, ability to work well under pressure and highly organised
