Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Junior Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join their team in a full-time office based role.
The candidate should be enthusiastic, professional and have good attention to detail. The successful candidate should have good typing skills, telephone manner and communication and computer skills. The responsibilities in the position will include but are not limited to:
- Handling office tasks, such as filing, preparing briefs and affidavits.
- General clerical duties including photocopying, printing, scanning and mail.
- Distribution of incoming and outgoing correspondence, such as DX and post.
- Retrieving and sending documents (files and deeds) from/to off site storage.
- Updating title deeds and closed files registers.
- Filing Wills, EPAs and GPAs.
- Coordinate maintenance of office equipment and stationary.
- Maintain records for petty cash.
- Helping fee earners and other legal professionals prepare for trials or court cases.
- Organise refreshments for partners/clients and all meetings as required.
- Cover reception as needed.
- Stamping and Swearing documents.
- Hand deliveries and filing documents in the relevant Court office.
- Assisting secretaries who are WFH with tasks in the office.
- Filing and physical file management.
- Assisting solicitors in day-to-day tasks such as signing wills, booking restaurants and booking taxis etc…
