Profile
Our client is looking for an experienced conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their busy practice. Candidates should have previous experience dealing with conveyancing files and will be supporting a partner and solicitor in the firm. This role would be full time and in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Preparation: Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and other materials.
- Dictaphone typing.
- Proficient in Case management systems.
- Calendar Management: Manage and update solicitors’ calendars, including scheduling appointments, court dates, and deadlines.
- Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and scheduling meetings or consultations.
- File Management: Maintain and organize paper and electronic files, ensuring documents are easily accessible, Online registration of documentation.
- Legal Research: Assist solicitors in legal research, document retrieval, and other research tasks.
- Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with various courts and agencies as required.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and always maintain confidentiality.
- Team Support: Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
- Managing the receipt and distribution of title documents on ATR for various banking institutions from time to time
- Dealing with PRAI registration applications & queries.
- Good comprehensive skills.
